Cookie Policy
Effective October 4, 2026. What lyrion.io stores in your browser, when, and how to change your mind.
The short version
Nothing that tracks you runs until you say yes. On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. If you click Reject, or ignore the banner, no analytics code is loaded. If you click Accept, Google Analytics 4 runs through Google Tag Manager and sets its cookies. We use no advertising cookies.

The consent choice is strictly necessary: without it we would have to ask on every page, or assume a choice you did not make. It is stored in your browser only and never sent to us.
When analytics is on, we tell Google that advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization are denied. Loading Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics also sends Google your IP address and browser details, as any web request does; Google uses them to provide the service. Changing your choice
- Open Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page) and click Accept or Reject. Accepting turns analytics on straight away; rejecting turns it off straight away.
- Rejecting also deletes the Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>) that were set on lyrion.io. To remove everything the site stored, clear the cookies and site data for lyrion.io in your browser settings.
- Clearing site data for lyrion.io also removes your saved choice, and the banner will ask again.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal and you have not made a choice, we treat it as a refusal: analytics stays off and the banner is not shown. You can still opt in through Cookie settings.
Browser controls
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site data, either for all sites or for one. Blocking the _ga cookies has no effect on how the site works. Blocking local storage means the site cannot remember your choice, so the banner will appear on each visit.
Other technical data
Our hosting provider keeps server logs for security and delivery. These are not cookies and are covered in the Privacy Policy. The site's fonts, images and scripts are served from lyrion.io itself.
