Follow every permit to approval

Permit applications assembled from your own records and tracked to approval, with every condition logged against the site it applies to and every submission approved by a person first.

Assemble the application

Each permit draws on the same records in a different form: site surveys, environmental studies, land agreements and engineering drawings. The system assembles the application from your own records, in the format each agency requires, and lists anything still missing before a person reviews it.

Example request

Prepare the drilling permit application for the northern site. Use the latest survey, the environmental baseline and the land agreement on file, follow the state agency's current form, and list anything we still need from the field team.

  • Applications built from your own records
  • Each agency's format and requirements followed
  • Gaps listed before a person reviews it

Review and submit

Your permitting lead reviews each application with the source of every answer attached. They can change a response, add a document or hold a section for counsel. Nothing is submitted until a person approves it, and every version is kept on the record for the next application.

Example request

The setback distance in section 4 comes from the old survey. Use the March survey instead, attach the updated map, and hold the water use section until our consultant has reviewed it.

Track conditions to the end

Once a permit is granted, the system reads its conditions, logs each one against the site and the team it applies to, and tracks them through construction and operation. Reporting dates and renewals are flagged ahead of time, and every condition has an owner.

Example request

The northern site permit came back with eleven conditions. Log each one against the site, assign an owner on the field team, and list the reports we owe the agency this year with their due dates.

  • Every condition logged against its site
  • An owner named for each obligation
  • Reports and renewals tracked to their due date
