Build a shortlist an engineer can defend

Satellite imagery, well records and permits brought together into a shortlist an engineer can defend, with every site's evidence traced to its source and the decision left with your team.

Bring the evidence together

Site selection draws on evidence that usually sits apart: satellite imagery, well records, geological surveys and permitting data. The system brings it together for every candidate site, in your own environment, so the assessment starts from the full picture rather than the easiest file to reach.

Example request

Assess every parcel in the northern basin against our screening criteria. Use the latest satellite imagery, the state well records and the permitting map, and list the sites that clear all three with the evidence for each.

  • Imagery, well records and permits in one place
  • Your own screening criteria, written down
  • Evidence attached to every candidate site

Rank and question the shortlist

The system ranks the candidates against your criteria and shows the evidence behind every score. Engineers can question any ranking, add a constraint, exclude a parcel or ask why one site scored above another. Each change is recorded, and the shortlist stays an engineer's call.

Example request

Why does parcel 14 rank above parcel 9? Add the transmission constraint from the utility map, exclude anything within two miles of a protected area, and show me how the top ten change and which evidence moved them.

Prepare it for the committee

Once the shortlist is settled, the system assembles the pack for the investment committee: each site's evidence, the criteria it was judged against, and the open questions. The engineer reviews it and presents it. The system supports the assessment; it does not make the decision.

Example request

Prepare the committee pack for the top five sites. One page per site with the imagery, the well data and the permitting status, the criteria each one met, and the questions we still need answered before drilling.

  • One page per site, every figure sourced
  • The criteria behind each ranking, on the record
  • Open questions listed, not hidden
